Vào ngày 22/12/2021, Tổ chức Hoa hậu Thế giới đã đưa ra một tuyên bố chính thức trên các phương tiện truyền thông xã hội về thời gian tổ chức đêm chung kết, sau khi buộc bị hoãn lại do ảnh hưởng của Covid-19. Theo đó, thời gian diễn ra đêm chung kết được ấn định vào ngày 16/3/2022.
On 22nd December, The Miss World Organization has released an official statement via their social media regarding the new details of the finale.
Đem chung kết của cuộc thi Hoa hậu Thế giới 2021 – kỷ niệm 70 năm dự kiến được tổ chức vào ngày 16/12/2021 đã tạm thời bị hoãn lại do phát hiện các trường hợp Covid-19 giữa các thí sinh và các nhân viên khác. Tổ chức đã phải hoãn đêm chung kết phát sóng toàn cầu vì quyền lợi an toàn của nhân viên và các thí sinh.
The coronation ceremony of the 70th edition of the Miss World pageant that was scheduled to be held on 16th December 2021 got temporarily postponed due to the Covid-19 cases amongst the contestants and other staff. The organization had to postpone the global broadcast finale due to the safety interests of its staff and contestants.
Được biết, đã ghi nhận 17 người bao gồm các thí sinh và thành viên của Ban tổ chức nhiễm Covid-19. Những thí sinh này bao gồm Manasa Varanasi của Ấn Độ, Carla Yules của Indonesia và Lavanya SIvaji của Malaysia cùng những người khác.
Reportedly, 17 people, including the contestants and crew of the organization contracted the coronavirus. These contestants also include India’s Manasa Varanasi, Indonesia’s Carla Yules and Malaysia’s Lavanya SIvaji among others.
Tổ chức thông báo: “Từ San Juan, Puerto Rico – Tổ chức Hoa hậu Thế giới vui mừng thông báo ngày 16/3/2022 là ngày được lên lịch lại cho chương trình truyền hình toàn cầu Hoa hậu Thế giới 2021 và đêm chung kết kỷ niệm 70 năm trực tiếp từ Đấu trường Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot.”
“Contestants from around the world will compete on March 16, 2022, for the coveted crown at Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico – The Miss World Organization is pleased to announce March 16, 2022, as the rescheduled date for the Miss World 2021 global telecast and its 70th anniversary finale live from the Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot,” said the officials in a press release dated 21st December 2021.

Các thí sinh Hoa hậu Thế giới từ khắp nơi trên thế giới sẽ trở lại Isle of Enchantment vào tháng 3 để tranh giành danh hiệu đáng thèm muốn. Miss World contestants from all around the world will return to the Isle of Enchantment in March to vie for the coveted title. During the finale, pre-recorded video from throughout Puerto Rico shot during the last four weeks will be televised internationally, displaying the island’s rich culture, stunning landscapes, beaches, and, most significantly, the love and friendliness of its people.
