The coronation night of Miss Universe Nigeria 2023 national pageant (the first ever standalone pageant) was held at the Convention Center of Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos on Sunday, 10th September 2023.

Her remarkable achievement this year has made her the only woman in her country to win both Miss World Nigeria and Miss Universe Nigeria titles. As Miss World Nigeria 2017, Mitchel represented Nigeria at Miss World 2017, she won the Top Model fast track and placed in the Top 15 at the end of the event finale.
Ihezue có chiến dịch vận động ủng hộ phụ nữ thoát khỏi những ràng buộc của xã hội để nắm bắt những khả năng vô hạn của mình. Với mục tiêu đó, cô đã theo đuổi chương trình MBA tại Trường Kinh doanh Lagos danh tiếng. Cũng tại đây, cô học các kỹ năng để bảo vệ quyền bình đẳng của phụ nữ.
Ihezue advocates for women to break free from societal constraints to embrace limitless possibilities. With the cause in her mind, she pursued her MBA program at the prestigious Lagos Business School, where she learned the skills to champion women’s empowerment.
Cùng trong đêm chung kết, người đẹp Sectra Omasede Okundaye được trao cho danh hiệu Miss Supranational Nigeria 2024. Cô sẽ đại diện đất nước tại Hoa hậu Siêu quốc gia 2024 vào năm sau. Princess Agunbiade (đến từ Ekiti) đạt được danh hiệu Á hậu.
Also at the finale, Sectra Omasede Okundaye was adjudged the title of Miss Supranational Nigeria 2024. She will represent Nigeria at Miss Supranational 2024 next year. Princess Agunbiade (Ekiti) placed as the runner-up.
Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ Nigeria sẽ tham dự Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ 2023 (lần tổ chức thứ 72), diễn ra vào ngày 18/11/2023 tại San Salvador, El Salvador. Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ 2022 – R’Bonney Gabriel đến từ Hoa Kỳ sẽ trao vương miện cho người kế vị vào cuối đêm chung kết.
Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
