Beatrice is of Filipino-American descent and now holds the distinction of being the first Filipino-American to clinch this national title. She is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in History and International Studies with certificates in Southeast Asian Studies and Political Science. As a humanitarian, Beatrice is an advocate for climate refugee rights.
