Alida Tomanič was crowned Miss Slovenije 2023 (Miss World Slovenia 2023) in a national competition held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in Radlje ob Dravi.
The 19-year-old architecture student from Ptuj bested 11 other finalists to win the national title and will now represent Slovenia at the 72nd Miss World Festival.
Her predecessor, last year’s winner Vida Milivojša will go to the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2024) in New Delhi, India in March of 2024.
Aleksandra Matan was named first runner-up while Tijana Bektašević finished as the second runner-up.
Pika Kenda, Nika Šalamon, Nada Hejja, and Ines Marjetič were awarded Miss Slovenian News, Miss Personality, Miss Photogenic, and Miss Congeniality, respectively.
